What a delightful surprise! I stumbled upon this takeout gem one evening after a long day and decided to treat myself to some fish and chips. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the place, which is always a good sign. The staff were friendly and quick to serve, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The fish was absolutely delicious! It had a light and crispy batter that didn’t feel greasy at all, and the portion size was very generous. I loved that they offered a choice of sides too, so I went for mushy peas, which were surprisingly good! Really added to the meal. One little thing I would suggest is to maybe add more drink options. I would have loved to have a nice fizzy drink with my meal rather than just water. But honestly, that's such a minor point! The food more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a quick, satisfying meal, this place definitely delivers. I can't wait to return and try some of their other dishes, especially the homemade pies that I overheard someone rave about while waiting for my order. Truly a hidden treasure in the area!
